Being an insomniac is often boring, so I decided build a personality-driven advice generator on Cursor AI, just for fun. Dr. Hoot is a playful South Indian owl with the voice of a 25-year-old designer who is extremely sleep-deprived, slightly opinionated, and always ready with unsolicited advice at 2 AM (Though sometimes, he doesn't make sense)

This was a quick 3-hour build that let me experiment with:

• Micro-interactions and UI playfulness

• Character-based UX: Giving AI a designer’s voice and personality

• Dark and light theming with a consistent tone

• Frontend coding in a vibe-led flow

It now lives as a delightful little corner on the web. A daily ritual. A smile trigger. A reminder that design can be thoughtful even when it makes no sense.
